Doorway to Learning is a family-owned and operated enrichment center and educational facility in Palm Bay, Florida. In addition to offering enrichment, Doorway to Learning is a preschool and childcare center that functions as an educational facility. This multipurpose approach ensures that children receive the best care possible, providing them with a strong foundation for a happy life.
Committed to fostering a balance of attention and stimulation, the instructors at Doorway to Learning aim to help children develop crucial social skills, self-esteem, and confidence early on. These fundamental attributes will serve as invaluable assets for preschoolers as they navigate the challenges of higher education in the future. Doorway to Learning offers a comprehensive curriculum to help prepare their students for a lifetime of happiness and success. Above all else, the goal is to inspire a love of learning. They hope that every student who walks through these doors will leave feeling inspired, enriched, and curious.
At Doorway to Learning, they understand the importance of developing lifelong skills. As such, they have created a curriculum that teaches problem-solving strategies, social and communication skills, and more.
No stranger to education, Doorway to Learning understands that the best way to teach is by making it fun and exciting. As such, they strive to make each class a full experience, including opportunities for exploration and creativity. The facility employs an advanced educational curriculum encompassing early literacy, mathematics, science, music, movement, phonics, reading, and writing. Within these programs, youngsters will acquire social intervention, motor skills, dexterity, speaking and listening proficiency and unleash their creativity. The center ensures diverse, engaging, and educational activities, providing children with ample options for enjoyment and learning.
One of the many features Doorway to Learning boasts is smaller class sizes. All classes are kept intentionally small to ensure each child receives individualized attention and care. By doing so, Doorway to Learning increases each child’s ability to learn and improve their skills. Doorway to Learning offers consistency in routines, age-appropriate activities, and a wide array of lessons and opportunities to help create well-rounded children.
Doorway to Learning is proud of the meticulous maintenance that goes into the facility. The bright rooms are a joy for all students, and parents will be pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms. Additionally, all staff members have received their state-required Child Care Development Certifications, including their Florida Child Care and Education Program Credential (FCCPC), AA in Early Child Care, or a BA in Elementary Education. Furthermore, every staff member must be certified in first aid and CPR.
Doorway to Learning first opened its doors in 1996. Since then, they have worked hard to provide the best education and services possible. Their hard work has paid off, as they have earned the Florida Gold Seal of Excellence due to their level of service and care. Likewise, Doorway to Learning has earned the Gold Seal from the NAC.
Since the beginning, Doorway to Learning has always had a mission statement to inspire a love of learning. For this reason, the facility offers individual and group activities that will help instill an important life lesson – that learning can be fun!
